DivXplayer_PPC.zip for HTC Touch HD - installation refused

I am using an HTC Touch HD (ROM Ver 1.14.405.3 (22273)WWE)running Windows Mobile 6 Pro which, according to the DivX Mobile Download page, requires the DivXplayer_PPC.Zip to run DivX files on my device. However, when I try to install the Player my device reports that the software I'm trying to load will not run on my device. I have read many reviews and reports of the DivX Player running on the HT Touch HD (It ran just fine on my previous TNC TYN II) so what am I doing wrong with this installation?

Unzip

Using a Windows computer, connect your HTC, unzip the contents of the DivXPlayer_PPC.zip file and launch the SetupPocketPC.exe application. ActiveSync will guide you through the rest of the installation.
