Hello,
I've installed DivX Mobile on my Nokia E63. I have converted a movie file with the DivX converter and selected Mobile profile.
When I play the movie the audio is off sync and after a minute it begins to stutter and almost completely stops the playback. When I close the player and go back to resume the movie it continues to play for 1 minute and then stutters again....
Please help. According to the information the player works with S60 3rd Edition and the E63 has S60 3rd Edition on it. What is wrong?

I've been having sporadic success converting divx files to mp4 using the iPod settings in Roxio Media Creator to watch on my e63.
Tried a couple of divx files in the mobile player, and the video looks great, but there is no audio. So I'm going to run it through the DivX encoder's mobile profile and see what comes of it. It's only 50% encoded, so I'll update when I've had a chance to test it.
Update: The mobile encoding did the trick. Now have audio with the video playback! It is ever SO slightly choppy in playback, but come on ... it's a CELL PHONE! That we can do this stuff at all frankly amazes me. AWESOME JOB DivX Devs!!
The E63 has a slow processor. DMP on the E63 may not keep up with DivX Mobile profile encoded videos. You could try the "qMobile" setting which will lower the quality but should play back smoothly.
You could also try to manually adjust the max bit rate of your videos by encoding with a tool like VitualDub and using the DivX Encoder in "unconstrained" mode. This would take some experimentation but you should be able to find settings between qMobile and Mobile that look good on the E63.

If your phone cannot play Mobile profile videos, try using the qMobile setting instead. The files will be smaller and should play well on just about any device.
I've tested with other settings and even with 256bit Video bitrate it doesn't play well. I tested another converter program called 4 Videosoft Nokia Converter which can convert to mp4, rm and 3g. With converter setting 384bit videorate and 15 frames per sec it playes well my E63 with the alreay installed Real Player.
