CANNOT UPDATE FIRMWARE OF CONNECTED
Hi, excuse my english but i'm a french guy. So, there is a month ago, i decided to upgrade the firmware version 1.1.3.4 . But sometimes, the video was not synchronized with the audio when i'm looking clips (wirelessly). So, this morning, i've decided to downgrade the firmware version 1.0.1.30. So, i have lost the wireless connection (i've tried 2 times the wep key but each time, the connection doesn't work) and i have the message "Failure to find update.bin" when i want to upgrade to version 1.1.3.4 (i've tried 3 USB devices). Please, help me !
Can you tell me the size of the 1.0.1.30 file that used to do the downgrade?
Yes. 4626 Ko.
Best regards
The problem was caused by downgrading with a partial update file. The correct one should be close to 8Mbytes. I would like to know where you got it so we can make sure it is changed to the correct version.
You should contact D-Link to see about getting a replacement unit since the unit you have can no longer be updated. Let me know if you have any issue getting a replacement.
I have downloaded this firmware on d-link France website, here is the link :
http://www.dlink.fr/cs/Satellite?c=TechSupport_C&childpagename=DLinkEurope-FR%2FDLTechProduct&cid=1197319463119&p=1197318961474&packedargs=local...
Big problem : the website must to do disappear this link because i have the bad impression that my DSM-330 is dead.
I've bought my DSM-330 on ebay last month so i haven't got any invoice.
D-LINK would accept to replace my DSM-330 without invoice (it's theit fault if there is a bad firmware on their website)
Best regards
I will alert them about the incorrect firmware.

It is written "Failure to write update.bin" and not "failure to find update.bin"
