Slow Fwd after Pause is supported (use the right arrow key). Slow back is not.

What is the supported maximum resolution of a video file?

It depends on the devivce. The DSM-330 will play all resolutions up to 720p. It will play some low bit rate1080p content (~6-8Mbps). DivX Connected will support higher resolutions as devices become available.

Is there support for matroska (.mkv) container format?

No. Possibly in the future with a server software update.

How does the "on the fly transcoding" work?

The file is decoded on the PC using the Direct Show system and then re-encoded into DivX in real time.

Which codecs can be used for high definition?

DivX, XviD and WMV (just remember that WMV is transcoded on the PC)
