Download from where?

Download from where? Downloads usually go to the "Downloads" folder in Leopard. You can find this on the right side of your dock.

DivX Converter acts weird

I installed the update yesterday and the DivX Converter acts really weird (I use the Pro version). The splash window doesn't come up, the encoding window is not there - only after selecting a file through the File->Open.. menu option (when you're in luck), the encoder window followed my mouse all around the screen while I was working normally in other apps, it will not quit (I have to force-quit it every time), the dialog window after encoding is complete cannot be activated - it remains dimmed (inactive) and you are not able to click the 'done', 'show' buttons, etc. The only time it works normally is the first time you start it after you login.

Same here. Sometimes the app

Same here. Sometimes the app launches without problems, but occasionally the splash window and encoding window refuse to show. You need to force quite, reboot or re-login to get the thing to work again. This is a major annoyance especially when you consider that people use Macs particularly for its stability and because they don't want to have to reboot all the time.

The "sticky encoding" window is slightly annoying. You'll just have to right click (or do the equivalent) and it will come loose. Methinks it's no different from stepping on a piece of chewing gum or post-it note on the sidewalk.

My problem is exactly same as you

My problem is using on MacBook + Leopard 10.5.1.
I could use DivX converter at the first time after installation. Now both converter and player don't work.
