DivX Mobile Player 0.90 Released for Windows Mobile

DivX Mobile Avatar To make things easier you can now download DivX Mobile Player directly here on DivX Labs, just Join the DivX Mobile Community and a whole new realm of possibilities will open up for you here. If you do not have a Labs account you need to sign up. Downloading from mobile.divx.com is of course also still an option.

An updated Beta version of DivX Mobile Player is now available for Windows Mobile PocketPC and Windows Mobile Smartphone. There is no update for Symbian at this time, but check back for an update soon. There is no version available for iPhone, Blackberry or Palm Garnet OS phones.

Version 0.90 new features:

  • Digitally signed code, which eliminates some installation hassles
  • Spanish and Portuguese translations
  • Improved power management to reduce battery drain
  • Correct screen orientation for Motorola Q
  • Correct screen orientation for Windows Mobile phones with slide-out keyboards

Known Issues:

  • Device registration is not currently available. The feature is in DMP 0.90 but the servers are not yet prepared to register mobile devices.
