MKV: No Audio

Hiya,

I am currently running W7 x64.

I am able to play 720p mkv files however there is no sound.

Sound works normally on other things. Im using a creative x-fi with digital io speaker connections if that helps at all.

Not related to this exactly but there is 1 other .avi that will run but again no sound.

Standard mkv files eg. anime work with video and audio just no subtitles which I believe is not yet supported. Other .avi files work as well.

If anyone has some ideas I would appreciate it.

Only got 2.0 Stereo output

This solution only got me 2.0 Stereo output, which I had before with AC3Filter. Though it seems to come and go and I have no idea why. Still looking for a way to get 5.1 over SPDIF. The Media Center is recognizing 5.1, but when I play MKVs, either no sound or stereo sound only. (And yes, the MKVs have AC3 inside).
